Henry was surprised to hear the News that Selden is dead because he whore Henry's clothes. Watson and Holmes also told him that they think that Mr.Stapleton is the bad guy. On the Portrait they saw that Stapleton looks like Hugo Baskerville and they think that Stapelton is a descendant of Hugo. So they made a trap.
